Pretty Sick

Number of ex-Jays on TV on same day = at least 3, King Carlos, Schoenweiss and Jeff Kent.

Number of bloggers calling bullshit = 2, this one and well, this one. Poker, Sportsnet? Come on!

Number of pitchers who were pink, round and efficient = 1. 7-1. Wow.

The Jays had 17 hits against the A's this afternoon. 17. I think we should all just look at that number and appreciate it. Because it is sick. Even sicker than the 17 hits? 12 runs. All this with Rios grounding into 3 dps. I have been in such a fog of annoyance and distance, not until recently did I realize that the May 2008 Jays have been bad ass. It's a shame that the April 2008 Jays were so ass bad, but maybe things are turning around. Or maybe things will go shitty again, and we'll all think "remember, they were so good in May..."

Oh, and Doc was totally boss last night. I fell asleep, before the end, but I saw enough to re-confirm my belief in his extreme awesomeness.

Apparently, Aaron Hill got hurt in a collision with Eckstein.
