Some Stuff

Well, I haven't written in about a week. I still have not much to say, but I will post this so the pic of a sweaty Jonathon Papelbon and his wife can be removed from the top of the blog.

So, AJ was rumoured to be on the trading block. Apparently, his agent has informed the Jays that if he performs well in 08 (their definition of "well" is 13-14 wins), he will opt out of his contract. Which is totally like a guy saying to his girlfriend "Baby, I know things have been rough. Let's give it another year. If things still suck, I'll stay. But if things get really good, I'm dumping your ass for someone hotter." And the girl has to take it.

Well, anyway, JP informed the media that they were NOT fielding offers for Burnett. They will, of course, listen to offers and take something if it blows their socks off. What this means, of course, is that AJ is already traded. And having Tommy John on his back. And someone else will have to live in Vince Carter's condo and race chilli peppers.

Oh, and because there is no justice in the world, JMac's glove is not gold. Oh well, the Gold Glove is sucky anyway. Fuck them all.
