Ok, so the last time I laughed at the Boston Red Sox and their fans, they turned around and won the World Series. My mockery is a powerful thing. So I will just neutrally anounce that C.C. Sabathia, who went 19-7 with a 3.21 ERA in 34 starts, won the A.L. Cy Young Award. It looks like he won on innings pitched. The "active heterosexual" known as Josh Beckett went 20-7 record with a 3.27 ERA in 30 starts but he was 40 1/3 innings behind C.C. C.C.'s playmates also gave him less run support.

So, in conclusion, fuck the Red Sox. Neutrality didn't really stick.

Our boy Roy finished tied for 5th, with one 3rd place vote.

The pic above is Beckett leading his own "Cy Young" chant at a bar in Boston in September. Bitch, please. But I like the "Stay Classy, San Diego" shirt.
