No Death for Bird Dog
So, to celebrate the firing of one Mickey Brantley, the Jays go offensively bananas in the first inning on Orioles starter Victor Zambrano (yes, that one) and put up an 8-spot for their boy Roy. And then proceeded to give 5 back with some poor fielding (hey there, Russ). But thankfully, Doc and the pen (of Downs and Acorn) beat the Orioles back enough so Russ didn't have to die.
That was Doc's last '07 start. He was wonderfully pissed again. Oh, the fury. If I was Russ, I would have avoided eye contact at all costs.
