They Get to Ride Him

One of these guys has been banished to the bullpen and one of them pitched a no-hitter. Can you guess which?

I like Roy Halladay. I always liked Roy Halladay. I always knew that he rises to the occasion and pitches his face off. I've known that for a decade. Of course he is going to throw a no-hitter his first post-season start. He's fantastic.

Just don't expect me to cheer for the fucking Phillies. If he went to go play for Boston or New York, I wouldn't be cheering for those teams all of a sudden. I'd be visiting SOSH and making fun of those guys.

And hey America, his years here in Toronto were not indentured servitude. He built himself into the pitcher you see today during those years. Mel Queen, while working for the Blue Jays, helped deconstruct and rebuild Sucky Roy Halladay into Cyborg Ass-kicking Roy Halladay. He cut his teeth on some of the most feared hitters and most stacked lineups in the whole game.

Maybe October just pisses me off. Or maybe just America pisses me off. Or maybe it's the AL East. And a whole lot of "what if?"

According to Richard Griffin, Roy Oswalt suggests "media makes a big deal" calling AL East tough that Halladay "still has to pitch" in the NL.

Yeah, whatever, other Roy.
