Thanks for nothing, Joe
So this is the baseball I was able to watch this weekend: half of the Yankees-Red Sox game. Joe and Jon were discussing Pedroia and Jon mentioned that he isn't the only awesome 2nd basemen around, that Aaron Hill "up there in Toronto" has gotten off to a ripping start.
And then Joe put up a graphic with Kinsler, O-Dog, Uggla and some others and kind of hilariously said "Well, Hill actually isn't on this, but these guys are good, too." The hell, Joe? Is it cause Aaron is "racist"?
The boys hit for Roy. And Roy likes it. "That's nice when you give up those leads to know that if you stay in it and keep grinding, you've got a chance to get it back. That's something that we didn't do as much last year but have done a lot of it this year getting those runs, especially later in the game. It's a big confidence builder."
Anything to build Doc's confidence. 6 straight series wins aren't bad either.
And AJ got bombed on Saturday and so did Beckett. Burnett blew a 6-0 lead, and gave up a grand slam to Varitek. I'm guessing that wasn't in Doc's lesson plan.
