2008: A Talented Bonehead's Road to Opting Out

I was in Toronto for a few days and as a result I've been MIA when it came to this blog. I got stuffy from the bad air, argued with a TTC driver and got really angry at the slow walkers. So, I was like a real big city girl. The 10 pm starts make late innings a total blur. The one of July 1st, I was weaving in and out of consciousness. I was like "oh...6-3" and then "wait...Sexson...NOOO!" The less said about the total bitch slap handed to the Jays by the Shitty Mariners, the better.

My sometimes favourite Jay (only in my weak moments) goes tonight against the Angels. He has been absolutely nails the last couple of starts. So he'll either continue being nails or get bombed, bringing out Wilner's bitchiest callers, screaming that he sucks and wanting his head. Or AJ might only give up 2 runs and watch as the bats fall silent. Silenced to a shutout. That is always a possibility.

DJF, once again getting all the attention, were interviewed by BlogTO. It's a decent interview. This quote from Parkes is probably my favourite part:

"I think we're pretty good at writing and maintaining the content on the blog, but we're absolute shit at promoting ourselves and organizing advertisers and doing other things that would actually make us money or get us noticed."

This comes after Parkes reveals that his day job is a freelance PR consultant. Which I assume more or less consists of promoting stuff, organizing advertisers and doing other things that make money and get people noticed.

Oh, and as christopher so charmingly pointed out, I don't play in DJF's sandbox. I'm sort of thankful, because dickheads have started to pee in that sandbox. Smell the urine:
