"Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?"-Brain

"Me thinks so Brain, verily, but doest thou think Pete Rose by any other name would still smell as sweaty?" -Pinky
Oh, so much has happened. Gibby was ranked 6th of all managers (in the AL East, haha) by the Wall Street Journal and Doc was ranked 8th of all pitchers . Oh, Newsday, please. I'd like to see any of those NL pitchers ranked above him pitch in the AL where the "get ahead fastball" gets crushed into the seats. So, Gibbers was ranked 6th in something and Doc was ranked 8th. Save us, Jeebus, for the end is nigh.
I just watched The Season '08 Jays. It featured the smooth stylings of Saukrates and some tough talk from a lot of boys. What happened? Beej's 2007 season was shitty and depressing. Acorn is his little buddy. They hang with Geoff Ogilvy. Alex Rios is a smooth mofo, despite the fact that he flies a model helicopter. Vernon's baby Wellses are very, very cute. The younger one has a baby fro and is particularly clueless, but he is only two. Their daddy better hit, that's all I got to say. Doc called out the team, in a very respectful manner, but basically called them goofoffs. Eckstein is plucky.
OOOH....people are booing Dubya as he comes out to throw out the first pitch on the first Sunday Night Baseball of the season. The Ex-Expos have a new stadium. Apparently, it's called Nationals Park. Joe and Jon have said "Nationals Park" about 45 000 times. This is the first pitch at Nationals Park. This first K at Nationals Park. This is the first hit at Nationals Park. This is the first run at Nationals Park. This is the first filmed ball grab.
The Jays open their "for reals" games tommorow. Doc vs. Wang. Last home opener at Yankee Stadium, so there is some history for our boy Roy.
Oh, and spark on, Reed. Even if it's for the Cubs.
