Run, Run, Run

Yanks 3 Jays 2

No, it was not the balk by Acorn that lost the Jays that game in the 9th but rather it was letting Cabrera walk (not run), completely uncontested, to third base that set up the balk. That, and not throwing enough strikes. Yes, he got out of the 9th with a tie to push it to extras, but the game felt like an out control car. Nice play by Rios and Zaun to get Cairo at home, though. Can we get on the running game, Arnsberg? Why is it that only Janssen and Marcum can hold guys close?

Doc, thankfully, was pretty awesome, save for a dodgy first. Andy Pettite gave up a lot of hits but the Jays didn't cash enough of them, which is the ultimate, big picture reason they lost this very winnable game. Show Pony was grazed by Janssen in the 10th (which turned into the winning run) but I'm not counting it. Fastball to the ass counts, curve to the elbow pad does not.
