A little bit of change

BoSox 7 Jays 4

Oy. Doc had nothing in the first inning and couldn't have laboured more if he was birthing triplets. The Jays pulled back into it, coming within a run, but two fluke plays by VDub and A-Dog (magically not on the DL, as per what Godfrey said in the All Star break) that gave up runs. Straight from the Doc's mouth:

"I definitely feel like it's been a little bit harder for me to get consistent, which in the past has been a little easier, I've had these points over my career. Sometimes you get breaks and you get out of it. Other times, you've got to work at it. That's kind of what I'm doing now. You try to improve everything you can and make adjustments that need to be made. I just feel like I've had a lot more of those this year than in the past." Yeah...

He better not be "pitching through pain", J.P. And the umpiring was a little suspect. Just saying. But Doc says:

"I feel good. It's nothing physically. I'm just trying to make some changes and adjustments that I feel are going to help. You're always trying to figure out ways to improve things and sometimes that involves a little bit of change."
