Matt Morris was crappy for one inning and gave up 3 runs. Sparrow gave up a 2 run jack to Mr.Bonds, who now needs only 8 homers to match Hank Aaron's record. A suicide squeeze scored the winning run. The Jays bats went back to sleep.

Bonds is booed in every park but San Fran's. The media picks on him and non-Giant fans are hostile. But the players seem to love him. Barry is getting some big love from Big Hurt. I saw him wrestling with Matt Stairs. And for every one of his at-bats, the Jays in the dugout were on the top step watching. Maybe Bonds is completely misunderstood by the public or maybe the steroid thing is less of a deal to players around the league.
