Like a phoenix, that Sparrow

I kinda like Josh Towers. Yes, he had a terrible season last year. And he'll never, ever be an ace. But he always works hard and I admired the way he took responsibility for his own performance and didn't try to pass blame on someone else. He always talked to the press, even when he sucked. His teammates also seem to love him. He's the treasurer of the Roy Halladay fan club. I thought the way he handled himself was admirable when the club kind of abandoned him (why was he allowed to go 1-9 last season without some sort of intervention? It was bad for him and for the team). Anyway, when Ohka got DFA'd, Sparrow (so called because he is slight and excitable) takes his spot in the rotation.
