Damn...

Just read the news that Joe Kennedy, one of the 07 Jays pen ponies, died of a brain aneurysm. He was 28, and leaves behind a wife Jamie and a 1 year old son. Though he was not a Jay for very long ( I had to look up whether it was the Joe Kennedy who played with the Jays the second half), but anyone who dies at 28, it's just too damn sad.
ETA from Jays who actually knew him:
Sparrow: "He was a great guy. Everybody always says positive things about people once they're gone, but he really was a great guy. He was always making us laugh."
Acorn: "He was one of my best friends on the team. He had a beautiful family. I got up this morning and Frank Thomas called me and told me the news. It's a shock. It puts a lot of things in perspective for you. It's one of those fluke things. He got up in the middle of the night and just collapsed."
