So young Mr. Burnett decided to wear his big boy pants and act like a grownup. He started to argue balls and strikes and get snippy with the ump (umps love that, by the way, to take down petulant ballplayers) and then induced a groundball from Bobby Abreu, who owns him. Being President of the Roy Halladay fan club has its perks. Now A.J. needs to quit walking guys, and he'd be set.
A.J. also loves him some Vernon, judging by the kiss he gave him on the head in the dugout. VDub earned that kiss by going 3 for 3.
